Those summer nights!!!

Hi friends! Yep... I stink at updating this. Hopefully I am forgiven. Things have been picking up around the curtright residence lately. We are pretty much settled in our new home. I have many crafts that I will be doing this summer to decorate our little abode. I will begin working on those once Drewster and I get back from Mexico! I also went on an amazing mission trip to Costa Rica back in April! I think that I am supposed to learn Spanish one of these days... I love Latin America! I went to Costa Rica as a chaperone for our church youth group and Lassiter high schools FCA came along with us. It was an experience of a lifetime! I love seeing the kids grow and become more and more selfless with each passing day. We dug a 6 foot hole for a septic tank. It was awesome! I definitely want Togo again next year!!! We are very excited to be taking a much needed vacay to our honeymoon spot! We head out Saturday and the rest of the curtright clan will be joining us on Monday! So far, this summer has been amazing!!! I am nannying 2 of the sweetest girls in Marietta! We go to the park and pool pretty much everyday. When we aren't in those two spots we go on a field trip. I am so happy with this summer job! Drew has noticed a change in my demeanor, too. He reports that I come home in a happy mood! Drew and I are keeping faith that I will find a new teaching job for the fall. I know that the Lord will provide! Welp... Mexico! Here we come!!!

Home Sweet Home!

Well, due to the craziness of life... I haven't blogged since Thanksgiving. I think I'll try to start doing them at least once a month. Hopefully that will work out and then start posting more and more? I don't know. We'll see!

On the upside... Drewster and I have purchased a house! I absolutely LOVE it! We are moving in this weekend! Last weekend we went to turn the water on and I saw a coyote! It was pretty awesome! Hopefully when we move in he won't return because he might tear my little Lucy Belle to shreds! So, even though it was awesome to see... Peace out Coyote. Here are some pictures of the house! Learning to Blog

Hello there... anyone.

I have been reading other friend's blogs recently, and thought... what the heck, I can do it too!

So, to update you folks on what is going on with The Curtrights... We are living in Marietta, Georgia trying to figure out the working world! Drew has passed the bar and been sworn in as an attorney. He got sworn in today in the court of appeals. I am so proud of him! He worked so hard during law school and studying for the bar. He did it! It feels so weird that he has finished the drill and that this part of our lives is finished. To be honest... it feels amazing! He is working as a defense attorney :)

I am a preK teacher at a private school in Marietta. I love my kiddos! They are so cute and sweet, and sometimes they drive me nuts! Luckily, my team teacher is the bomb and we get along very well.

Lucy, our puppy, is doing really well and growing like crazy.  Due to inclement weather this week... she's been off the chain and needing some exercise. I'm glad today is pretty, so I can take her on a run.
